Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) has given inanimate objects awareness & perception by which they glorify their Lord. The stones fall down out of fear of Him. The mountains & trees prostrate. The pebbles, water & plants glorify Him. All this is going on but we are not aware of it. Allah the Great says: •►"The seven heavens and the earth and whatever is in them exalt Him. And there is not a thing except that it exalts [ Allah ] by His praise, but you do not understand their [way of] exalting. Indeed, He is ever Forbearing and Forgiving.” (Surah Al Isra 17:44) The companions heard the food that was being eaten glorifying Allah. That was because the companions had a transparency of heart that does not now exist among us. All these things are part of our world and yet we are in complete ignorance of them. *SubhanAllah* [From ‘The Soul’s Journey After Death’ by Ibn Al Qayyim - Page 18]

“If our hearts were truly pure, we would never get enough of the Words of our Lord, and I hate that one day passes with me not looking in the Mushaf/The Quran." ( Uthman bin ‘Affan - Radi Allahu 'anhu )

Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth.

♥ "Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The example of His light is like a niche within which is a lamp, the lamp is within glass, the glass as if it were a pearly [white] star lit from [the oil of] a blessed olive tree, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil would almost glow even if untouched by fire. Light upon light. Allah guides to His light whom He wills. And Allah presents examples for the people, and Allah is Knowing of all things. [Such niches are] in mosques which Allah has ordered to be raised and that His name be mentioned therein; exalting Him within them in the morning and the evenings...[Are] men whom neither commerce nor sale distracts from the remembrance of Allah and performance of prayer and giving of zakah. They fear a Day in which the hearts and eyes will [fearfully] turn about - That Allah may reward them [according to] the best of what they did and increase them from His bounty. And Allah gives provision to whom He wills without account." ♥ (Surah Noor, 35-38)

Like an individual walking in the scorching heat of an endless desert. Tired, thirsty, with hardly any hope left in him to find shade. That’s how a believer may feel at certain instances in his life. But what always cures him? It is the beautiful Names of Allah SWT. For every worry, concern, anxiety, apprehension, calamity, you will find extreme peace, contentment, immense joy, and solution in at least one Name of Allah SWT. If you fear for someone’s safety, you console your heart that Allah SWT is Al-Haafidh and Al-Waliy of the Believers. He SWT will never ever desert His Special Slaves and will give them Special Help even if 1000′s of people are after them, chasing them like Shayateen in the form of wild dogs and wolves. He SWT is An-Naseer, Al Qahhar and Al-Qawiyy so with your patience, you’ve got the Only One who is Competent over all and the Only One who is able to give anyone victory, on your side! If you are worried about somebody’s health, you remind yourself that Allah SWT is Ash-Shafi and all possibilities of cure lie within His Might so He may provide a cure even if there’s no medical solution. Also that if He does not Will in His Ultimate Wisdom (Al-Hakeem) for the person you love to be cured right now and immediately, then as a believer you must calm down for He SWT loves His Slaves more than we can ever love them. Why? Because He SWT is Al-Wadood, Ar-Ra’oof, Ar-Raheem. If you find that people are constantly not valuing you, are not noticing your day and night’s efforts, or are even misunderstanding your good intentions and good words, then know that Allah SWT is Ash-Shaakir. He SWT knows when nobody knows. It is with Him your reward remains, nobody can steal it unless you waste it via your misdeeds, and it is He SWT alone who will repair your heart. When you feel like losing patience and bursting after tolerating a certain person’s repeated bad behaviour then recognize Allah SWT is Al-Haleem. He SWT forbears, tolerates and withholds Himself from seizing people by their forelock as they happily give their thanks to other than Him and commit Shirk (the greatest offense), then who are we to lose our patience with people when we are not capable of doing them a favour without His Will, let alone create them! You may be stuck in a horrifyingly difficult situation with nobody to turn to or ask for help. Or it may be something trivial that you are anxious about. Know that Allah SWT is Al-Fattah, the Only One who will open up doors of solution which seem locked. Is there something that you wish for in this dunia? A good job? Some extra cash to buy a halal house or a small car? Or maybe children/good spouse? Guess what? Allah SWT is Ar-Razzaq, He SWT will give you what you deserve OR in your specific case He SWT may be Al-Wahhab and He SWT may gift you with something you did not expect at all without asking for anything in return. He SWT is Al-Lateef and He may do it in a very subtle, loving, gentle manner by putting trials as stepping stones in your way so that your footsteps reach a destination where you’re taken by surprise by His Mercy. These trials may seems as these difficult challenges in your limited vision but they may be His Form of Mercy to you to gain more knowledge and awareness about Him. Through His Name of Ar-Rahmaan, you would then realize that He SWT is Al-Mu’tee, the Superb Giver of Knowledge and understanding of the Deen!

SubhanAllah…

…and there you were worrying about so many things… :)

So whenever you are down, do the thought experiment I just expressed through words in this post and look for the Name of Allah SWT that will help you through this situation. Please ensure the Names and Attributes from the authentic sources!

Let me end by sharing my most favourite verses of the Quraan:

He is Allah , other than whom there is no deity, Knower of the unseen and the witnessed. He is the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful. He is Allah , other than whom there is no deity, the Sovereign, the Pure, the Perfection, the Bestower of Faith, the Overseer, the Exalted in Might, the Compeller, the Superior. Exalted is Allah above whatever they associate with Him. He is Allah , the Creator, the Inventor, the Fashioner; to Him belong the best names. Whatever is in the heavens and earth is exalting Him. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

[Surat'l Hashr, 59:22-24]

~If whatever is in the Heavens and the Earth is exalting Him and glorifying Him, then why should we, the ones whom Allah SWT honored by commanding the Most Obedient of Creations i.e. the Angels prostrate to our father Adam AS, be left behind in Glorifying Him with His Beautiful Names and Attributes?

No doubt the Promise of Allah SWT of finding peace in His Remembrance and all other Promises are Haqq.♥ ♥

Dear sister in Islam...,

We know its hard. We know you look at all those pretty girls and wonder why you can’t look like them? We know it hurts to sometimes refrain yourself from plucking those brows or to put on that hijab & abaya. We know it gets hard to walk outside with no make up on, with your natural face, thinking it’s not good enough and all of your flaws are showing.

You know what else we know? We know you’re beautiful, regardless of what you think of yourself. ♥ We know that even the slightest inclination of pleasing Allah in yourself increases that beauty ten-fold and we know that when Allah finds you beautiful, it’s all that matters. You’re not doing this for the world, remember? You’re not even doing it for yourself. :)

Imagine your beauty on the Day of Qiyamah when your face would be glowing and radiant with noor, when you would enter Jannah & be more beautiful than the hoor and you would realize that this world really wasn’t worth the drool.

Lovely sister, we are proud of you! ♥..

Surah Yunus

Surah Yunus is a Makkan Surah and elaborates the concept of Touhid , oneness of Allah. After summing up,  the Surah ends with a few thought provoking and motivating verses. We may have gone through it any times but let us see them once more from Da'wah ( The Invitation to Islam ) 's perspective. Open Surah Yunus , verse no. 104 onwards.

Say: O mankind, if you are in doubt as to my religion , I do not worship what yo worship besides Allah. But I worship Allah who will take you souls. I am commanded to be the of the believers..

Now let us study this verse : It begins with 'Qul'. It means  'TELL THEM ' and this phrase is the form of command. It means ' DELIVER ' It  encourages to  deny false ideologies courageously. Look at the phrase : I do not worship what you worship other than Allah..How many of us can muster courage to tell this to our Non Muslim friends of course Allah does not command us to tell it rudely.  But we fear to tel them politely. You  will not mind in refusing politely to the same friend if he asks for your car or a loan that you cannot afford but when it comes to refusing something bigger then we get reluctant.

The same verse ends with a typical style of Introduction of Allah : One who will take your souls ( when you die)... This is a unique style of reminding death as well. In this world we will find many people who do not believe in Allah but we will never find a person who denies death.

The next verse is a command for the Da'ee ( Muslims in general) : Set Your face towards the Religion with true piety... The Arabic word here is 'aqeema' it means to stand up or be firm  or set up firmly. Deen or faith cannot be shaky. We cannot be confused.. In this context, we cannot opt for a middle way that if my Christian friend wishes me Happy Eid I must also wish him Merry Christmas. This verse also means that you have to implement deen in your own life, after all da'wah is not only talking big about Islam. The next verse continues with the same lesson but with a warning.. here it goes..
Nor call any other than Allah such can neither profit you nor hurt you.. As simple as you understand.  Seek help from Allah only...The verse further  gives a warning...If you worship any one besides Allah or invoke then you will be also from the zalimoon.. In the Qur'anic terminology zalim is used for mushreek also, though not always and the highest form of zulm is shirk says surah Luqman.. So  Da'ee should even save him self from shirk which includes 'show off' or hunt for fame  via deen... be careful about it.. shirk comes as quitely as the footsteps of ants..
Then in verse no. 107, Allah gives an assurance which no super power or medical doctors can give..If Allah causes you any harm then no one can remove it but if He designs some benefit for you then no one can hold back his favour..Now this verse has to be pondered into..Dont expect laurels and applauds in the field of dawah, if you get  bouquets then dont be surprised if some one hurls a brick at you. . The verse assure... if Allah blesses you, no one can stop his belssings upon you..So  in the field of dawah one should not be too hurry to get results .
Then the theeme of Da'wah in the next verse..Addressing the mankind.. O mankind now truth has reached you from your Lord.. those who recieve guidance will do good for his own soul and those who stray, do so for to their own loss.. Allah remnds the da'ee..you are not set over them to arrange their affairs..simple? dont keep on measuring the results of your hard work every now and then. Men cannot grade his own performance.. Let Allah do it.
The last verse of Surah is a big assurance. .Obey the inspiration ( The Quran and the commands of the messenger, peace be upon  him)  and be patient till the help of Allah arrives for, He is the best to decide... Four lessons in one verse..
1. Obey.. dont take shariah lightly or casually
2. Be patient.. here it means keep going, don't give up..bricks or bouquets  , what ever comes , continue inviting people to good..
3 Till Allah decides.... dont hope a quick result.. Noah a.s. did sabr for 950 years, Yususf a.s. preferred to do sabr over sins, over taking revenge from his brothers and preferred to stay in jail for years..
4. Allah is the best to decide....let Allah decide how and when His help should arrive...
Dont forget that surah Yunus was revealed during Makkan period, one of the hardest times upon the Muslims. They were in micro minority but today we are a largest minority in the world with 55 countires under our belt and more than half of oil under over land..so no case of nagging..

Verse number 106 says : Nor call upon any other than Allah who can neither profit you nor benefit you....

Remember, too, that the Prophet (sallAllahu ályhi wasallam) was not a person who insulted or cursed others.

It was reported that Anas ibn Maalik: The Prophet (sallAllahu ályhi wasallam) was not a person who insulted people or used obscene language, and he did not curse people. If he wanted to rebuke anyone, he would say, “What is wrong with him? – may his forehead be rubbed with dust.”

Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allaah have mercy on him) said:

❝Sins generate more sins, and one leads to another, until they overpower a man and he finds it difficult to repent from that.❞
As one of the earlier generation said: One of the punishments of bad deeds is more bad deeds, and one of the rewards of good deeds is more good deeds.

[Al-Jawaab al-Kaafi (p. 36)]

Asbahnaa wa 'asbahal-mulku lillaahi Rabbil-'aalameen, Allaahumma 'innee 'as'aluka khayra haathal-yawmi: Fathahu wa nasrahu wa noorahu, wa barakatahu, wa hudaahu, wa'a'oothu bika min sharri maafeehi wa sharri maa ba'dahu.

We have entered a new day and with it all the dominion which belongs to Allah, Lord of all that exists. O Allah, I ask You for the goodness of this day, its victory, its help, its light, its blessings, and its guidance. I seek refuge in You from the evil that is in it and from the evil that follows it

For evening recitation, say here: Allaahumma 'innee 'as'aluka khayra haathihil-laylati: "My Lord, I ask You for the good things of this night."

Abu Dawud 4/322. Its transmission chain is good (Hasan). See also Ibn Al-Qayyim, Zadul- Ma'ad 2/273.

Seek forgiveness every moment. Often. It has tremendous benefits.

Mufti Menk says:
“Seeking the forgiveness of the Almighty very often, raises ones rank, eases difficulties, increases sustenance, purifies the heart, attains blessings, protects from sin, cures from disease, increases piety, fulfills our needs, grants goodness in offspring, makes obedience easy, achieves the Pleasure of the Almighty & results ultimately in entry into Paradise.

The Messenger (SalAllahu Alaihi Wasallam) himself sought forgiveness between seventy to a hundred times DAILY.” (♥)

#Prophet SalAllahu Alaihi Wasallam had no sins, yet He sought forgiveness more than seventy times daily.
We can think about ourselves. :(
Seek forgiveness every moment. Often. It has tremendous benefits. In sha Allah.

O Allah we beg you to make us of the people of Paradise, with whom you are Pleased! :')

♥ Allah promises delight & success for those who believed in Allah & His Messenger & complied with what they were commanded to follow. Allah promises that He will guide such people because of their eeman or through their eeman! This means:

1) When people have eeman & strive to do good, Allah increases them in guidance & good!

2) Because of their eeman, Allah will guide them on the Day of Qiyamah, on the Siraat (Slippery Bridge) till they reach Paradise!

As Mujahid said; "Their faith will be a light in which they will walk." ♥

And on reaching Paradise, they will glorify & praise Allah due to extreme pleasure & delight. Allah will make dhikr & tasbeeh second nature to them -- easy, natural, automatic!
O Allah make us of the Ahl ul Jannah! Reserve a place for us in your vast Jannah ya rabb! :')

♥ Let's Race to Jannah ♥ Whoever meets Allah without ascribing anything to Him will enter Jannah. [Bukhari]

♥ The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “There are two blessings which many people do not make the most of and thus lose out: good health and free time.” ♥ [Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 6412.]

“Turn away from your worries,

♥::Allah is our beautiful source of strength & patience::♥

“Turn away from your worries,
And entrust your affairs to His Decree.

Rejoice at the good which will soon be,
You will then forget what has gone by .

Perhaps an issue which upsets you,
Holds at its end what will gladden you.

Indeed Allah does what He wishes,
& He NEVER burdens His slave with anguish."

"Whoever says this when he rises in the morning will be protected from jinns until he retires in the evening, and whoever says it when retiring in the evening will be protected from them until he rises in the morning."

"Whoever says this when he rises in the morning will be protected from jinns until he retires in the evening, and whoever says it when retiring in the evening will be protected from them until he rises in the morning."
(reported by Al-Hakim 1 / 562, Al-Albani graded it as authentic in Sahihut-Targhib wat-Tarhib 1/273, and traces it to An-Nasa'i and At-Tabarani. He says that At-Tabarani's chain of transmission is reliable (Jayyid).)

Transliteration: Allahu la ilaha illa Huwa, Al-Haiyul-Qaiyum La ta'khudhuhu sinatun wa la nawm, lahu man fis-samawati wa ma fil-'ard Man dhal-ladhi yashfa'u 'indahu illa bi-idhnihi Ya'lamu ma baina aidihim wa ma khalfahum, wa la yuhituna bi shai'im-min 'ilmihi illa bima sha'a Wasi'a kursiyuhus-samawati wal ard, wa la ya'uduhu hifdhuhuma Wa Huwal 'Aliyul-Adheem

Translation: Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.
[Surah Al baqarah 2:255]

‘Indeed good actions are a light in the heart,

‘Indeed good actions are a light in the heart,

a strengthening for the body,
a glow on the face,
a cause for extensive provisions and
love in the hearts of the creation.

'Indeed bad actions are a darkness in the heart,

a blackness on the face,
a weakness for the body,
a cause for decrease in provisions and
hatred in the hearts of the creation.

Ibn al-Qayyim [rahimahullah]

Even with a mountain of sins go to Him, He'll still accept you, help you, & care for you.

Even with a mountain of sins go to Him, He'll still accept you, help you, & care for you.

Because if you'll not repent then what else will you do?

Repentance is such a big turn. Take this U - turn along your road. It feels beautiful to get reconnected to Allaah! #♥.

An advice for parent's

An advice for parent's
Teach your children to read the Qur'an;
not to sing.

Teach your children to pray with you;
not to dance.

Teach your children how to wear hijab;
not how to be a model.

Teach your children how to go to Masjid;
Not how to go to clubs.

Teach your children the Names of Allah;
Not the name of Celebrities!

#In sha Allah.

The Messenger of Allah (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) said

The Messenger of Allah (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) said •►‘Two will not be rejected, Supplication when the Adhan (call of prayer) is being called, and *at the time of the rain*.' [Al-Hakim 2: 114, and Abu Dawud #2540, ibn Majah]

•►‘Seek the response to your du’as when the armies meet, and the prayer is called, and *when rain falls*.’ [reported by Imam al-Shafi' in al-Umm, al-Sahihah #1469]

The time of the rain is a time of mercy from Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) so, one should take advantage of this time when Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) is having mercy on His slaves.

The Student who made his Teacher cry.... Allahu Akbar!!!

A teacher told one of his lazy student:
“if you bring me a handful of the dust of Paradise, you’ll be a successful student.

The next day, the little boy came with a handful of dust and gave it to his teacher.
The teacher became angry and said :"Are you kidding me! where did you get this from?”

The student answered with tears in his eyes “This dust was under the feet of my mother, didn’t you teach us that Paradise lies under the feet of mothers.” (♥)

Imagine! It's 5 AM in the morning... you can smell something burning... you realize that the house is on fire... what do you do? Will you evacuate the house and leave your family to burn?

No! You will do anything to wake them up & take them with you!
So how can you know about the blazing hell fire, wake up for fajr Salaah (prayer) but don't bother waking up your siblings and parents?? #Think? Act! :)

•►O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones, over which are [appointed] angels, harsh and severe; they do not disobey Allah in what He commands them but do what they are commanded.
~ Qur'an 66:6

We have been taught "to forgive, but never forget

We have been taught "to forgive, but never forget", right?

Most of us lie when we say that we have forgiven the people for their mistakes and wrongdoings but then we continue to remind them of their mistake sometimes. Maybe in anger or maybe just to tease or make them feel hurt.

Is this a forgiveness we want for ourselves as well?

When we raise our hands in humility towards heavens and we beg for forgiveness, what do we ask for? What kind of forgiveness do we ask for?

We want a clean chit from Allah that we have been forgiven COMPLETELY. We want another chance. We want our huge and endless list of crimes to be erased. We want Allah to accept our repentance and allow us to start again. We don’t want to be reminded of it, or have it come back to haunt or to taunt us. We want our sins to be forgiven here and veiled on the day of Judgement!!

Subhan'Allah, the mercy of our Lord, the Most Merciful is so much unique that Allah Subhanahu Wa Taa'la after forgiving a repenting believer never reminds him of his wrong deeds, neither in this world nor in the hereafter!

Hence, If we want to be forgiven completely, we must learn to forgive others completely.

May Allah help us not to bear any grudges towards anyone, to treat one another properly and to forgive another completely.

“Allah surely loves those who are the Sabireen (patient).” (3:146)

❝ The Story Of A Teacup ❞

❝ The Story Of A Teacup ❞

There was a couple who used to go shopping in beautiful antique stores. They both liked antiques and pottery, especially teacups. One day in a shop they saw a beautiful teacup.

They said, “May we see that? We’ve never seen one quite so beautiful.” As the storekeeper handed it to them, suddenly the teacup spoke.

“You don’t understand,” it said. “I haven’t always been a teacup. There was a time when I was red and I was clay.” My master took me and rolled me and patted me over and over and I yelled out, “leave me alone”, but he only smiled, “Not yet.”

“Then I was placed on a spinning wheel,” the teacup said, “and suddenly I was spun around and around. Stop it! I’m getting dizzy!” I screamed. But my master only nodded and said, ‘Not yet.”

Then he put me in the oven. I never felt such heat. I wondered why he wanted to burn me, and I yelled and knocked at the door. I could see him through the opening and I could read his lips as He shook his head, “Not yet.”

Finally the door opened, he put me on the shelf, and I began to cool. “There, that’s better,” I said. And he brushed and painted me all over. The fumes were horrible. I thought I would gag. ”Stop it, stop it!” I cried. He only nodded,”Not yet.”

Then I knew there wasn’t any hope. I would never make it. I was ready to give up. But the door opened and he took me out and placed me on the shelf.

One hour later he handed me a mirror and said, “Look at yourself.” And I did. I said,”That’s not me; that couldn’t be me. It’s beautiful. I’m beautiful.”
Then my Master said to me, “I know it hurts to be rolled and patted, but if I had left you alone, you’d have dried up. I know it made you dizzy to spin around on the wheel, but if I had stopped, you would have crumbled.
I knew it hurt and was hot and disagreeable in the oven, but if I hadn’t put you there, you would have cracked. I know the fumes were bad when I brushed and painted you all over, but if I hadn’t done that, you never would have hardened;you would not have had any color in your life.
You are what I had in mind when I first began with you.”

✿ Moral Of the Story ✿

Allah Subhan wa Ta'ala knows what He iss doing for all of us .He is Al-Hakeem, The all-Wise & Al- A'aleem, The all-Knowing.
He Subhan wa Ta'ala will mold us, by passing us through difficulties in life . So that we become better human beings, better Muslims.

As Ibn al-Qayyim rahimahu Allah said,

❝When Allah tests you, it is never to destroy you. Whenever He removes something from your possession, it is only to empty your hands for an even better gift.❞

Prophet Muhammad salAllahu 'alayhi wasallam said,

Prophet Muhammad salAllahu 'alayhi wasallam said,

"Whoever puts this world as his only (and primary) goal, then Allah will divide his affairs for him, and He will place poverty before his eyes, and nothing will come to him of this world except that which was already written (i.e. pre-destined) for him. But whoever made the Hereafter his goal, then Allah will gather his affairs for him, and He will place richness in his heart, and the world will come to him conquered and submissive"

LIGHT LIGHT AND LOTS OF LIGHT :)

LIGHT LIGHT AND LOTS OF LIGHT :)

a) From Abu Sa’eed al-Khudri, who said: “Whoever reads Soorat al-Kahf on the night of Jumu’ah, will have a light that will stretch between him and the Ancient House (the Ka’bah).”
(Narrated by al-Daarimi, 3407. This hadeeth was classed as saheeh by Shaykh al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami, 6471)

b) “Whoever reads Soorat al-Kahf on the day of Jumu’ah, will have a light that will shine from him from one Friday to the next.”
(Narrated by al-Haakim, 2/399; al-Bayhaqi, 3/249. Ibn Hajar said in Takhreej al-Adhkaar that this is a hasan hadeeth, and he said, this is the strongest report that has been narrated concerning reading Soorat al-Kahf. See: Fayd al-Qadeer, 6/198. It was classed as saheeh by Shaykh al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami’, 6470)

(c) It was narrated that Ibn ‘Umar (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: “The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: ‘Whoever reads Soorat al-Kahf on the day of Jumu’ah, a light will shine for him from beneath his feet to the clouds of the sky, which will shine for him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will be forgiven (his sins) between the two Fridays.’”
Al-Mundhiri said, this was narrated by Abu Bakr ibn Mardawayh in his Tafseer, with an isnaad with which there was nothing wrong.

(al-Targheeb wa’l-Tarheeb, 1/298)

The soorah may be read during the night or the day of Jumu’ah. The night of Jumu’ah starts from sunset on Thursday, and the day of Jumu’ah ends at sunset. Therefore the time for reading this soorah extends from sunset on Thursday to sunset on Friday.

Al-Haafiz ibn Hajar said in his Amaali: “In some reports it says ‘the day of Jumu’ah’ and in some reports it says ‘the night of Jumu’ah’. They may be reconciled by saying that what is meant is the day which includes the night and vice versa.” (Fayd al-Qadeer, 6/199)

Al-Mannaawi also said:

“It is recommended to read it during the day or night of Jumu’ah, as al-Shaafa'i (may Allaah have mercy on him) stated.” (Fayd al-Qadeer, 6/198)

  • Umar bin Al Khattab r.a. used to weep on recalling his early youth. Some one asked him : O leaders of the Believers ! What's the matter?. He replied : When I was a young man my father used to worry and reprimand me." Umar ! How will you manage your life, if you can't even look after a flock of sheep? Umar continued : After embracing the Qur'an, Umar is looking after the administration of entire Islamic land !

This is the excellence of Qur'an. It brings the best out of you. Those who study the Qur'an and its Tafseer and implement them in their lives, need no workshops in management, human relations, Personality development..... If the Qur'an can raise a community of shepherds from its ebb into the highest tide and place them in the ranks of best Rulers, Warriors, Crises fighters, Ambassadors, Donors .. in an age without Internet or even telegraph , why cannot it upgrade us the educated ones ?

Consider this: If your doctor gives you a doze of medicine to cure your viral fever he will also give you some do and donts so that the medicine can affect . He will say take this medicine in time and avoid cold things ... But if you take the medicine and just look at it with hope can you get cured? NO... and if you take medicine but for cold but continue your affair with Ice creams and colas..will your sickness flee ? This is exactly what most of the Muslims are doing to the prescription for our social, psychological economic and political problems. Some of us read the Qur'an like reading the doctor's medicine but refuse to gulp it down ..Many of us read the Qur'an but continue doing what the Qur'an stops us from , like taking colas, ice creams along with the medicines.

When Allah says " Hold fast to the rope of Allah.. it means cling to the 'do' and shed away 'donts'. When Surah Hashr says: wama aatakumur rosoolu fa khozooho...what ever the Prophet gives you fakhuzoohu...'khuzoo' means to grab it without fear, hesitation and reluctance and hold it firmly and don't let it go.. I will make it simple : If the Prophet gives you a command.. grow your beard.. then don't delay, don't fear, don't hesitate and don't be reluctance. Now make a list of all the commands that the Prophet has given regarding dealing with parents, neighbours, poor, orphans.....and grab them. Fakhuzoohu..

It was the reluctant obedience without delay that made Ibrahim 'Khaleel' of Allah ( peace be upon him ) . When he was commanded to slaughter his son he did not even inquire " is it mustahab or wajib ?" like many of us do before growing beards and cutting the trousers up to ankles. It was the instant obedience that made Umar the finest authority.

Most of us work hard only on Tajweed and Qirat and relax . Many highlight scientific miracles of Qur'an , some study the linguistic miracles of Quran and together we all boast of Qur'an but only few take the benefit out of it. How many of us enjoy acting upon a Qur'anic verse which we love to hear it again and again ? How many of us after listening to Shaikh Mishary Rasheed or Shaikh Shuraim reciting Surah Isra's 24 th verse regarding high graded behaviors with parents actually implement it?

The Beauty of Qur'an is not enjoyed only in its awesome Qiraat or scientific miracles or dazzling language but also in its capacity of transforming our lives from bad to good... from good to very good and from very good to excellent..But if we allow it..

There are times when you’re alone, discouraged, tested, in pain and just plain weary. Times when it seems like there’s no one left who cares or consoles.

There are times when you’re alone, discouraged, tested, in pain and just plain weary. Times when it seems like there’s no one left who cares or consoles.
That’s when faith counts more than ever. That’s when faith is tested. Don’t give up. Keep hope in your heart. REMEMBER AND KNOW •► that even if YOU are in the darkest cave, the deepest canyon, the most barren of deserts, ALLAH will still BE there

with you.
Let faith carry you at those times, and let Allah guide you, and you will come through to a better place. It’s a promise from Allah:

•►And whoever is conscious of Allah, He will make for him a way out (from every difficulty). And He will provide for him from (sources) he never could imagine. And whoever puts his trust in Allah, then He will suffice him. Verily, Allah will accomplish His purpose. Indeed Allah has sent a measure for all things.” (Quran: 65:2-3) ♥

What If the Prophet Added You as a Friend?

What If the Prophet Added You as a Friend?

Would you press accept?
Or would you stay awake late at night, pondering it before you slept?
Will you be tempted to press ignore?

Will you feel at war?

Will you feel happy that the prophet thought of you as a part of his ummah, his friend?
Will you start to make amends?
Or will you be worried about what he will think of your profile?
Will it become your biggest trial?

Will you finally delete that horoscope application?
Will you change your favorite quotes to glorify creation?
Will you delete those late night webcam pictures without the hijab?
Will you look at your life and feel a stab?

As you add the qu’ran as your favorite book?
Will you feel like a fake, a crook?
Will you take a few days to make sure everything is within Islamic law?
Will your heart finally begin to thaw?

Will you delete your old conversations?
Or will you feel nothing at all and continue following your temptations?
Will you press ignore, And not think about it anymore?

No reason to worry about that possibility occurring
The prophet has long departed
But Allah is always there Watching you and listening to your prayers

You don’t need to add Him as your friend With Allah,
you can never hide or pretend He doesn't need your permission to view

How would we like to face death?

Some people have died while singing songs,
while others have died reciting Qur'an,

some people have faced death when a cinema hall catched fire
while others faced Malikul Maut in a stampede during Hajj..

Different people. Different Actions. Different ways of Dying.

How would we like to face death?
While dancing in a disco or while in sujood in a masjid?
While singing songs or reciting Qur'an?

When its time the Angel of Death does not wait for us to come out of disco to take our souls.
They reach wherever we are and do their task.

Lets leave all the acts of Allaah's disobedience today, from Now itself..
Because if our life will be spent in the obedience of Allaah then we will die as an obedient slave
In shaa Allaah..

Lets Wake up before we Never Wake up!!!!

Have you thanked Allah for His countless blessings today?

A man reached 70 years of age and was affected by a disease which made him unable to urinate. The doctors told him that he needs an operation to cure the disease. He agreed to do the operation as the problem was giving him severe pain for days.

When the operation was completed the doctor gave him a bill which covered all the costs. After looking at the bill, the man started crying. Upon seeing this, the doctor said "If the cost is too high then we could make some other arrangements for you."

The old man replied, "I am not crying because of the money but I am crying because Allah let me urinate for 70 years and He never sent me a bill!"

Subahanallah!!! ♥
"And He gave you from all you asked of Him. And if you should count the favor of Allah , you could not enumerate them. Indeed, mankind is [generally] most unjust and ungrateful." [14:34]

Have you thanked Allah for His countless blessings today?

Ten Causes that Result in Allaah’s Love For His Slave and the Slave’s Love for his Lord

Ten Causes that Result in Allaah’s Love For His Slave and the Slave’s Love for his Lord

Reciting the Qur’an while pondering over its meanings and what is meant by it.
Getting closer to Allaah by performing voluntary deeds after completing obligatory deeds. This is as is stated in a Hadith Qudsi: “My slave continues getting closer to Me by performing voluntary deeds until I love him.”
Continual re

remembrance of Allaah under all circumstances, with one’s tongue, heart and actions. The extent of one’s love of Allaah is determined by this.
Giving precedence to what He loves over what you love when you are overtaken by your desires.
The heart being avid of Allaah’s Names, and Attributes and the heart roaming in that garden of knowledge.
Observing Allaah’s kindness, goodness and bounties, both hidden and open.
And this is the most wonderful, the heart being soft, subdued and meek before Allaah.
Being alone with Allaah during the time when the Lord descends during the last portion of the night while reading His Book and ending that by asking for forgiveness and repenting.
Sitting with the beloved and sincere, benefiting from the most fruitful of their speech. And not to speak unless speaking is more beneficial and you know that it will improve your state and be beneficial to others.
Remaining away from every cause that comes between the heart and Allaah.
Ibnul Qayyim al Jawziyyah, Madarij as-Saalikeen (Vol. 3, P.17-18)

For every setback, Allah has a comeback. For every trouble, He helps you double. Every day He shows you the way

For every setback, Allah has a comeback. For every trouble, He helps you double. Every day He shows you the way. Alhamdulillah.

Allah does not get tired of you. He does not write you off, or forget about you, or give up on you. In fact, when you need Him and call on Him, He comes to you quickly, at speed, rushing to help you:

The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “Allah the Most High s

aid, ‘I am as My servant thinks (expects) I am. I am with him when he mentions Me. If he mentions Me to himself, I mention him to Myself; and if he mentions Me in an assembly, I mention him in an assembly greater than it. If he draws near to Me a hand’s length, I draw near to him an arm’s length. And if he comes to Me walking, I go to him at speed.’” [Sahih Al-Bukhari]

What an amazing, benevolent, merciful God is Allah. He is Master of all: He could have been capricious, selfish, or destructive, and we would have been helpless pawns, unable to help ourselves or be helped. But that is not His nature. In hundreds of verses of the Quran, Allah Almighty describes Himself as “Ghafurun Rahim”, that is One Who forgives and has mercy.~ unknown

O sincere Muslim,..

Turly in the heart there is a void that cannot be removed exept with the company of Allah SWT

The Impact -- A Real Story

The Impact -- A Real Story

Several years ago an Imaam moved to London. He often took the bus from his home to the downtown area. Some weeks after he arrived, he had occasion to ride the same bus.

When he sat down, he discovered that the
conductor had accidentally given him twenty pence too much change. As he considered what to do, he thought to himself, "I better give the twenty pence back. It would be wrong to keep it."
Then he thought:

"Oh why don't I just forget it.., it's only twenty pence.
Who would worry about this little amount? Anyway, the bus company already gets too much fare; they will never miss it. I will just accept it as a gift from Almighty Allah and keep quiet!"

When his stop came, the Imaam paused momentarily at the door, and then he handed the twenty pence back to the conductor and said,

"Here, you gave me too much change."

The conductor smiled and said:

"Aren't you the new Imaam in this area? I have been thinking lately about going to worship at your mosque. I just wanted to see what you would do if I gave you too much change."

When the Imaam got down the bus, his knees became weak and soft. He had to grab the nearest light pole. He held for support, and looked up to the heavens and cried,

"Oh Allah, I almost sold Islam for twenty pence!"

REMEMBER!

We may never see the impact our actions have on people!!

Sometimes we are the only knowledge of Quran someone will read..,
or the only Islam a non-Muslim will see!

What we need to provide, Insha Allah is an example for others to see!

Let us be careful, be honest and humble everyday, because we never know who is watching our actions and judging us as Muslims!! We might be saying something and doing something contrary to what we say...Are we really showing the world the real characteristics and spectacular qualities of a true believer?

Let us atleast remember at all times -

Allah is watching us! And He is going to ask us if we delivered His message or not!

Today is all that you Have!!

Today is all that you Have!!
When you wake up in the morning, do not expect to see the evening live as though today is all that you have. Yesterday has passed with its good and evil, while tomorrow has not yet arrived. Your lif

e's span is but one day, as if you were born in it and will die at the end of it. With this attitude, you will not be caught between an obsession over the past, with all its anxieties, and the hopes of the future, with all its uncertainty. Live for today- During this day you should pray with a wakeful heart, recite the Qur'an with understanding, and remember Allah with sincerity. In this day you should be balanced in your affairs, satisfied with your allotted portion, concerned with your appearance and health.

A beautiful & easy duáa from the sunnah that should be recited daily in the mornings & evenings.

[Surah Ibrahim 14:40]

How many Jum'ah salat can we pray on a single Friday?

How many Jum'ah salat can we pray on a single Friday? Of course, no more than one.
However, here is a way that will get you reward of praying more than one Jum'ah on any given Friday.

Prophet Muhammad (sallAllahu alyhi wasallam) said:
"Wh

oever invites towards (the path of) guidance shall receive a reward equal to the rewards of those who follow him without this decreasing anything from their rewards." (Sahih Muslim)

Using this formula, if you invite 9 of your friends to offer Jum'ah with you and they respond to your call then you will get the reward for your own Jum'ah plus nine additional Jum'ah prayers. You can increase the number by as many as you want!

How great is Almighty Allah who has made earning for the hereafter very easy.

"And whoever guides others towards good is equal to the doer of good." (Tirmidhi)

The Virtues of Jumu'ah Prayer

::✦::The Virtues of Jumu'ah Prayer::✦::

Jumu‘ah prayer has a particular virtue and great qualities through the barakah (blessing) of this great day.
Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) said•►"Jumu‘ah prayer is singled out from amo

ng all the other obligatory prayers for having particular characteristics that are not found in other prayers, including the fact that it is offered in congregation, has a minimum number of worshippers required in order for it to be valid, the iqaamah is a condition of its being valid, one must not be travelling in order for it to be obligatory, and the recitation is done out loud.

There is an emphasis on its importance the like of which is not mentioned for other prayers except ‘Asr prayer. In the four Sunans it is narrated in the hadeeth of Abu’l-Ja‘d ad-Dumari – who was a Companion – that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said•► “Whoever misses three Jumu‘ahs out of heedlessness, Allah will place a seal on his heart.”
(Zaad al-Ma‘aad, 1/384-385)

The Prophet’s Sunnah also singles out Jumu‘ah prayer by encouraging believers to do ghusl for it and to wear perfume (for men only). It is also strongly encouraged to come early for the prayer and there is a great deal of reward for walking to the prayer. Concerning these special characteristics, Sa‘eed ibn Mansoor narrated from Na‘eem ibn ‘Abdullah al-Mujammir that ‘Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) issued instructions that the mosque of Madinah be perfumed with incense every Friday at midday, as was narrated by Ibn al-Qayyim in Zaad al-Ma‘aad, 1/370.

every rain drop is a dua.

Narrated 'Aisha: Whenever Allah's Apostle (obuh) became ill, he used to recite Al-Muawidhatan (i.e. the last two Suras of the Qur'an) and then blow his breath and passed his hand over himself. When he had his fatal illness, I started reciting Al-Muawidhatan and blowing my breath over him as he used to do, and then I rubbed the hand of the Prophet over his body. Bukhari (Book #59, Hadith #714)

"The good deeds of any person will not make him enter Paradise." (i.e., None can enter Paradise through his good deeds.)

Narrated Abu Huraira (ra) : I heard Allah's Apostle (pbuh) saying,
"The good deeds of any person will not make him enter Paradise." (i.e., None can enter Paradise through his good deeds.)
They (the Prophet's companions), may Allah be pleased with them, said,
'Not even you, O Allah's Apostle?'
He said,
"Not even myself, unless Allah bestows His favor and mercy on me."
So be moderate in your religious deeds and do the deeds that are within your ability:
and none of you should wish for death, for if he is a good doer, he may increase his good deeds, and if he is an evil doer, he may repent to Allah." Bukhari (Book #70, Hadith #577)

Don't worry,,

Verily,Allah is well pleased that the servants should eat a meal nd praise him for it,or take a drink nd praise him for it.

Fear of Allah

Hearts that have been shattered but rebuilt with Allah will always be stronger inshaAllah.

Hearts that have been shattered but rebuilt with Allah will always be stronger inshaAllah. The love and mercy Allah provides for His servants, no one else can; the trust and dignity Allah provides, no one else can; the hope and courage Allah gives, no one else can. People will always let us down, make promises they cannot keep, utter words which they do not mean but Allah is Al-Wadud, the All Loving, His love is pure and He never breaks His promises. There really is no greater comfort in life other than knowing Allah is aware of how we feel. He is the All-Aware, the Provider, the Healer, the Caretaker of us all.

Naqab is beauty..

With your beauty, you are better than the sun; with your morals you are more sublime than musk; with your modesty you are nobler than the full moon; with your compassion you a more beneficial than rain. So, preserve your beauty with faith, your tranquility with contentment, your chastity with hijab…

Allah has Angels who roam the roads, seeking out those who remember Him.

“Allah has Angels who roam the roads, seeking out those who remember Him. So, if they find those who remember Allah, they call out: ‘Come see what you’re looking for!’ and the Angels encircle them with their wings up to the sky.

The Angels reply: ‘They say: subhan Allah, Allahu Akbar, and al-hamdu lil-Lah.’

Allah then says: ‘Did they see Me?’
...
The Angels reply: ‘No! By Allah, they didn’t see You.’

Allah says: ‘How it would have been if they saw Me?’

The Angels reply: ‘If they saw You, they would worship You more devoutly and praise You more, and declare Your freedom from any resemblance to anything more often.’

Allah will Say: ‘What do they ask Me for?’

The Angels reply: ‘They ask You for Paradise.’

Allah says: ‘Did they see it?’

The Angels say: ‘No! By Allah, O Lord! They did not see it.’

Allah says: ‘How it would have been if they saw it?’

The Angels say: ‘If they saw it, they would have greater desire for it, and would seek it with greater zeal.’

Allah says: ‘From what do they seek refuge?’

The Angels reply: ‘They seek refuge from the Fire.’

Allah says: ‘Did they see it?’

The Angels say: ‘No, by Allah, O Lord! They did not see it.’

Allah says: ‘How it would have been if they saw it?’

The Angels say: ‘If they saw it, they would flee from it swiftly, and would have extreme fear of it.’

Then, Allah says: ‘I make you witnesses that I have Forgiven them.’

One of the Angels would then say: ‘There was such and such a person amongst them, and he was not one of them. Rather, he had just come for some need of his.’

Allah would then say: ‘These are people whose companions will not be saddened.’”

Sa’d ibn Waqas (radiAllahu anhu) reported that the Prophet (salAllahu allayhi wasalam) said

Sa’d ibn Waqas (radiAllahu anhu) reported that the Prophet (salAllahu allayhi wasalam) said, “The supplication made by the Companion of the Fish (Prophet Yunus (as)) in the belly of the fish was (the above). If any Muslim supplicates in the
se words, his supplication will be accepted/responded to.”
In another report we read, “I know words that will cause Allah to remove one’s distress. These are the words (of supplication) of my brother Yunus, peace be upon him”
[at-Tirmidhi; 3500, an-Nisa'i in `Amal al-yawmi wa al-layla; #656, al-Hakim 1:505 and 2:383.

Allah the almighty stated:

O Allah! save us from hellfire

Al-Bukhari recorded that `Imran bin Husayn said that, the Messenger of Allah said,

«صَلِّ قَائِمًا، فَإِنْ لَمْ تَسْتَطِعْ فَقَاعِدًا، فَإِنْ لَمْ تَسْتَطِعْ فَعَلَى جَنْب»

(Pray while standing, and if you can't, pray while sitting, and i
f you cannot do even that, then pray lying on your side.)

These people remember Allah in all situations, in their heart and speech.

Allah also praises His believing servants,

(Those who remember Allah standing, sitting, and lying down on their sides, and think deeply about the creation of the heavens and the earth), supplicating;

﴿رَبَّنَآ مَا خَلَقْتَ هَذا بَـطِلاً﴾

("Our Lord! You have not created this without purpose,'')

You did not create all this in jest and play. Rather, You created it in truth, so that You recompense those who do evil in kind, and reward those who do righteous deeds with what is better.

The faithful believers praise Allah and deny that He does anything in jest and without purpose, saying,

﴿سُبْحَـنَكَ﴾

("glory to You,''), for You would never create anything without purpose,

﴿فَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ﴾

("Give us salvation from the torment of the Fire.''), meaning, "O You Who created the creation in truth and justice, Who is far from any shortcomings, or doing things without purpose or with jest, save us from the torment of the Fire with Your power and strength. Direct us to perform the deeds that make You pleased with us. Guide us to righteous work from which You admit us into the delightful Paradise, and save us from Your painful torment.''

﴿وَيَتَفَكَّرُونَ فِى خَلْقِ السَّمَـوَتِ وَالاٌّرْضِ﴾

(and think deeply about the creation of the heavens and the Earth), contemplating about signs in the sky and earth that testify to the might, ability, knowledge, wisdom, will and mercy of the Creator

-If you're busy with something & prayer time has set in,remember that the Aakhirah comes first.Watch out for satanic whispers..."When the Adhaan is given,Shaitaan goes off passing wind so that he does not hear the Adhaan & when the call is finished he returns. Then when the Iqaamah is given,he goes off until it is finished, then returns in order to interfere with the person & his concentration. He say: 'remember such & such' referring to things the man was not thinking of,to the point that the man does not know how much he has prayed." (Bukhaari)

There is no word as beautiful as Allah.

"There is no word as beautiful as Allah. No example as perfect as Rasulallah (Sallahu aleyhi wa salam), No lesson as beautiful as Islam. No song as melodious as Adhan. No journey as rewarding as Hajj" No place than Jaanaat, Suggest your friends so they may benefit.

We live in a society that is based on judging others

We live in a society that is based on judging others. Often times, as Muslims, we tend to do the same thing in that we judge other people. We think we know others’ intentions or we know where their heart stands. We may look for a reason
to pass judgment on a specific brother or sister or we may look for an excuse to consider them ‘off the manhaj’ as it is so often known as.

However, in reality, ask yourself, “Who are we to judge others?” As Muslims, we want and wish for the best for our brothers and sisters in faith. They are a part of our family and thus we want nothing but the best for them. What happened to making excuses and excuses for our brothers and sisters? Who are we judge others? No doubt, as Muslims, it is our duty to advise others and it is our duty to command the good and forbid the evil. What would happen if we didn’t pass judgment on them, rather we just advised them instead? Would something befall upon us? Allah is the Judge and He will judge the people for indeed we do not know what is in the hearts of others, rather Allah knows what is in the breasts of mankind.

Imam Malik was reported as stating, “If I was given 99 reasons to declare a person deviant and one upholding their orthodoxy, I’d go with the latter!” Imam al-Ghazali was reported as stating, “The hypocrite looks for faults, the believer looks for excuses.” Al-Hafidh al-Dhahabi wrote, “I heard our Sheikh, Ibn Taymiyyah, d. 728 a.h, say towards the end of his life, ‘I will never declare anyone from the people of the Qiblah (Muslim direction of prayer) as an infidel.’”

Ask yourself, do you REALLY want the best for your brother or sister if you’re looking for an excuse to throw them outside the fold of Ahlus-Sunnah or worse yet, even Islam? Oh Muslim, make excuses for one another. Make dua for one another. Love one another. We are told that we would not attain faith until we love one another. We were also told that one is not a believer until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself. Therefore, O Muslim, attain faith, become a believer (Mumin)! May Allah (SWT) allow us all to be believers. Ameen.

“Allah willed to test three Israelis who were a leper, a blind and a bald headed man

“Allah willed to test three Israelis who were a leper, a blind and a bald headed man. So, he sent them an angel who came to the leper and said, ‘What thing do you like most?’ He replied, ‘Good color and good skin, for the people have a str
ong aversion to me.’ The angel touched him and his illness was cured, and he was given a good color and beautiful skin. The angel asked him, ‘What kind of property do you like best?’ He replied, ‘Camels’ so, he was given a pregnant she-camel, and the angel said to him, ‘May Allah bless you in it.’

The angel then went to the bald-headed man and said, ‘What thing do you like the most?’ He said, I like good hair and wish to be cured of this disease, for the people feel repulsion for me.’ The angel touched him and his illness was cured, and he was given good hair. The angel asked him, ‘What kind of property do you like the best?’ He replied, ‘Cows or Camels’. The angel gave him a pregnant cow and said, ‘May Allah bless you in it’.

The angel went to the blind man and asked, ‘What thing do you like best?’ He said, I like that Allah restore my eyesight to me so that I may see the people.’ The angel touched his eyes and Allah gave him his eyesight. The angel asked him, ‘What kind of property do you like best?’ He replied, ‘Sheep’. So he gave him a pregnant sheep.

Afterwards, all the three pregnant animals gave birth to young ones, and multiplied and brought forth so much that one of the three men had a herd of camels filling a valley, and one had a herd of cows filling a valley, and one had a flock of sheep filling a valley.

Then the angel, disguised in the shape of appearance of a leper, went to the leper and said, ‘I am a poor man, who has lost all means of livelihood while on a journey. So none will satisfy my need except Allah and then you. In the Name of Allah Who has given you everything such nice color and beautiful skin, and so much property, I ask you to give me a camel so that I may reach my destination.’ The man replied, ‘I have many obligations (so I cannot give you),’ The angel said, I think I know you. Were you not a leper to whom the people had a strong aversion? Weren’t you a poor man, and then Allah gave you (all this property).’ He replied, ‘(This is all wrong) I got this property through inheritance from my forefathers.’ The angel said, ‘If you are telling a lie, then let Allah make you as you were before.’

Then the angel, disguised in the shape and appearance of a bald man, went to the bald man and said to him the same as he told the first one did, and he too answered the same as the first one did. The angel said, ‘If you are telling a lie, then let Allah make you as you were before.’

The angel, disguised in the shape of a blind man, went to the blind man and said, ‘I am a poor man and a traveler, whose means of livelihood have been exhausted while on a journey. I have nobody to help me except Allah, and after Him, you yourself. I ask you in the Name of Him Who has given you back your eyesight to give me a sheep, so that with its help, I may complete my journey.’ The man said, ‘No doubt, I was blind and Allah gave me back my eyesight. (I was poor and Allah made me rich); so take anything you wish from my property. By Allah, I will not stop you for taking anything (you need) of my property which you may take for Allah’s sake.’ The angel replied, ‘Keep your property with you. You (i.e. three men) have been tested and Allah is pleased with you and is angry with your two companions.”
