It
is not hardship that Allah wants for us as His slaves. But He wishes
for us to attain certain qualities and characteristics. As is often the
case, these characteristics are mostly gained through enduring
difficulties, obstacles, and challenges - challenges which force you to
rethink YOU and who YOU are; force you to think outside of the box and
change your course for the better. It is these pathways that refine us
and cultivate in us true value and nobility.
The other pathway
that brings about similar results is talab al-'ilm (seeking knowledge).
The more you learn, the more you grow and blossom with the fruits of
your knowledge.
Always remember: ❝... Allah wants ease for you and He does not want difficulty for you...❞ [al-Baqarah: 185]
