"Whatever happens was always going to happen. And whatever isn't willed to happen by Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala will never happen." #So, takecare. Make dua's. Put your trust in Allah & relax.

Unwanted

There are a multitude of different things that can hurt a person, different emotions that bring people down. But one of the most painful feelings that a person can feel is feeling unwanted. Unwanted by people we once considered friends, by family who we think should care, unwanted by people in general and there is one type of feeling unwanted that tops all on the pain factor: feeling unwanted by God. Some people may gasp, shake their heads at that, thinking, “How can anyone ever think they are unwanted by God?” But many others reading this right now may be nodding their heads thinking, “I know how that feels. I know how it feels to feel that God doesn’t want you, that He is constantly pushing you away.” And while I wish that simply by assuring you that of course God wants you near Him it would push away all of your gnawing pains and aches of unwantedness, I know that simply saying these words will not help heal your wounds. So, instead, I want to share a deeply emotional story hoping that this story may shed light on the reality of our situations.

A man in our past had been blessed with an amazing gift. Bestowed with a huge blessing from our Lord, he went out to his people to tell them about it. He went out to them with his beautiful black eyes, his flowing beard and his upright posture. He stood before the people he loved explaining to them the blessing that he had been given, the responsibility that had been bestowed upon him. He had been loved by his people before; they trusted his every word. He was used to being accepted and never being second-guessed. He was used to the kind-hearted actions of his people and even the caring nicknames they would call him by that exemplified his traits. So naturally, with this new blessing he was bringing to them, things would only get better, right? Naturally seeing that God favored him so much that He gave him such an amazing gift, there was no way that the people would react negatively, right?

As his story began to get out, and people began to hear about this man who was given a blessed gift and responsibility from the One above, the people began to change. They began to become cold and mean. They began to ridicule this kind-hearted man. They began to say mean words and even laugh at him in his face. The same people, who would shower him with praise and kind words, began to do the exact opposite and they began to spread these rumors about him to others whom he loved dearly. Never had he experienced such torment at the hands of people before, much less his people; the people he loved and lived alongside. But it was okay, because he knew that his self worth came only from God. He knew that his Lord loved him and wanted him. That his Lord wasn’t pushing him away and had not forgotten him. But you won’t imagine what came next.

In the midst of all this turmoil and this pain that he was enduring at the hands of his people, the blessing that he loved so much, the responsibility that he held in such high esteem, stopped returning. He stopped receiving his blessing. At first it was just a brief absence, but as the absence grew tensions began to rise. His people began to laugh and mock him. ‘Your demons have forsaken you,’ a woman mocked. Pain: Had he been forsaken? Had he endured so much from his people only to be pushed away by his Lord? Had he angered his Lord so much that his Lord no longer wanted him near, no longer wanted to send Him the blessing and bestow upon the responsibility that He had given him earlier? That’s what it seems like, right? His people turned on him, and then the blessings in his life seemed to stop. What else could it mean? God told Him exactly what that meant and sent him cooling words to heal his anxiety and distress. First, notice that God wanted to cool his aches and his pains—because feeling pain is not a sign of unspeakable weakness—it’s a sign of humanity. He sent him a message to grant him understanding of what had happened, and from His message to him, we too can learn many a lesson:

“By the morning brightness And [by] the night when it covers with darkness,” (Qur’an 93:1-2)

First, God swore by the brightness of the morning and the darkness that covers the night. When we are in the depths of darkness of night, no matter which way we look we can’t see any proof that the sun will ever return. We can’t see any sign that signifies that the sun will wash away the darkness and allow us to see clearly again, but we never doubt that it will come. Similarly, when we are in the trials of life, swallowed by the darkness of tribulation, we often times look around trying to see where the sun may come up, trying to see when it is all going to go away—and the truth is, often times we can’t see any proof that the sun will rise again, but just as we believe that the sun will rise after a night sky passes—we should full heartedly believe that the sun will rise on our life and happiness will once again enter it.

“Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you].” (Qur’an 93:3)

If you haven’t realized by now, the beautiful persevering soul that we were speaking about is our beloved Muhammed ﷺ (peace be upon him) and the moments of anxiety and distress came from a delay in the revelation being sent down to him. God tells him in plain words what we all want to hear- God has not left you, he didn’t abandon you and He doesn’t hate you.

If you see that your life is filled with trials and that perhaps God is pushing you away from Him, think again—He hasn’t abandoned you. He doesn’t detest you.

“And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life].” (Qur’an 93:4)

God reminds our beloved messenger and us that no matter what we go through in this life, it’ll be worth it in the end. The Hereafter will make it all worth it. And yes, while we are in this life it feels like it is never ending and we are sidelined time and time again—slammed to the floor and we feel like we can’t make it any further, but God is promising us that if we just hold on and keep at it, in the End it will all be worth it.

“And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied.” (Qur’an 93:5)

Just because things are bad now, doesn’t mean it will always be bad. How many times has God made someone become something when he began as nothing? How many times has God solved a seemingly impossible situation in an instant? Your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied, if not in this life then in the next—just hang in there.

“Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? And He found you lost and guided [you], And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient.” (Qur’an 93:6-8)

Here God is mentioning the many trials that the Prophet ﷺ went through and reminding him that he solved these problems easily and simply for him. There is no problem that is too big for God to fix. But there is more to this. Perhaps you can relate to one of his problems, or perhaps your problem is completely different than these that were listed—but the common factor is that it was a problem. Look and see what our Lord says next in reference to these hardships that our beloved messenger had to face:

“So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]. And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him]. But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it].” (Qur’an 93:9-11)

Our Lord tells our Prophet ﷺ to take the hardships that he had undergone in life and to do what? Learn from them. Our Prophet ﷺ had been an orphan so that if ever an orphan was to come to the prophet, he could relate and treat him with justice. Imagine how many an orphan found comfort within the embrace of our beloved Prophet ﷺ and knew that he would never harm them because he knew what the orphan had been through. Imagine how many a poor person found relief in the kind glance of the Prophet ﷺ knowing that he was treating them with kindness and fairness. None of what the Prophet ﷺ underwent was without cause. Every ounce of pain was for a reason, even if he didn’t know what the wisdom was at the time that it was happening, and this is even more so for us. The pains, the trials and the tribulations that we face in life are not God pushing us away. It is not him forgetting about us or abandoning us. It is not him “not wanting us,” rather each “misstep,” each crumble and collapse we have that sends us falling to the floor, has been constructed to make our life and interactions perfect—preparing us for eternal bliss, if only we react appropriately and learn the intended lesson.

Ponder upon this: "UNABLE TO STOP SINNING ??"

A man came to Ibrahim ibn Adham, may Allah be pleased with him, and said, "Abu Ishaq, I am unable to control my self (from sinning). Please give me something to help me with it."

"If you accept five conditions," said Ibrahim, "and are able to put them into practice, your disobedience will not cause you any problem."

"Just tell me what they are, Abu Ishaq!" the man said.

"The first is that when you want to disobey Allah you do not eat anything He provides."
"Then how will I get anything to eat? Everything on the earth is from Him!"

"So is it right to eat His provision and disobey Him at the same time?" replied Ibrahim.
"No, it is not. What is the second condition?"

"When you want to disobey him, move off His land."
"That is even more difficult! Exclaimed the man. "In that case where will I live?"

"Is it right to eat his provision and live on His land and then to disobey Him?" asked Ibrahim.
"No, it is not. What is the third condition?"

"When you want to disobey Him in spite of eating His provision and living on His land, find a place where He will not see you and disobey Him there."
"What do you mean, Ibrahim? He knows everything that happens even in the most hidden places!"

"So is it right to disobey Him when you eat His provision and live on His land and when you know that He can see everything you do?"
"It certainly is not!" the man replied. "Tell me the fourth condition."

"That when the Angel of Death arrives to take your soul, you say to him, 'Give me a reprieve so that I can repent and act righteously for Allah.'"
"But he won't listen to me!"

"Then if you cannot ward off death long enough to give yourself time to repent, and you know that when it comes there will be no reprieve, how can you hope to be saved?"
"What is the fifth?"

"That when the angels of the Fire come to you to take you to the Fire, you do not go with them."
"They will take me whether I like it or not!" exclaimed the man.

"So how can you hope to be saved?"
"Enough, enough, Ibrahim! I ask Allah's forgiveness and I turn to Him!" =

Indeed. Patience with duaas & duaas with patience is the remedy for every grief.

Allah knows what’s best for you..!

♥ Al-Mujeeb is the Answerer of prayers. ♥

According to al-Ghazali, this means that it is He who responds to the requests of those who ask by assisting them, to the call of those who call upon Him by answering them, and responds to the plight of the poor with all they need.

When you ask Allah (swt), it means you know Him. Knowing He responds means knowing that He is All-Seeing (As-Baseer), All-Knowing (Al-`Aleem), All-Hearing (Al-Samee`), that He is the Most-Affectionate (al-Wadud), that He gives us even if we don’t deserve it (al-Wahhab), that He is not in need of anyone or anything but we are in need of Him (al-Ghaniyy). If we don’t ask, then we truly do not know Him, and we are missing out on an amazing act of worship.

✦Expressing our Love for our dear Prophet (sallAllahu 'alyhi wasallam), following him and sending peace & blessings on him is something we should do NOT just one specific day but EVERY DAY - as much as we can✦ The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said•►“whoever sends blessings upon me, Allaah will send blessings upon him tenfold.” [Narrated by Muslim 384] It was narrated that Ubayy ibn Ka’b (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: When two-thirds of the night had passed, the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) would say•► “O people, remember Allaah, remember Allaah. The first Trumpet is about to sound, and will soon be followed by the second; death has come with all that it entails, death has come with all that it entails.” Ubayy said: I said: O Messenger of Allaah, I send blessings upon you a great deal; how much of my prayer (du’aa’) should be for you? He said•► “Whatever you wish.” I said: One quarter? He said•► “Whatever you wish, and if you do more it is better for you.” I said: Half? He said•► “Whatever you wish, and if you do more it is better for you.” I said: Two thirds? He said•► “Whatever you wish, and if you do more it is better for you.” I said: Should I make all my du’aa’ for you? He said•► “Then your concerns will be taken care of and your sins will be forgiven.” [Narrated by al-Tirmidhi 2457; classed as hasan by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Tirmidhi] Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allaah have mercy on him) said in Jala’ al-Afhaam (79): Our Shaykh Abu ‘Abbaas (i.e., Ibn Taymiyah) was asked about the meaning of this hadeeth. He said: Ubayy ibn Ka’b had a du’aa’ that he used to say for himself, and he asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) whether he should make one-quarter of it sending blessings on him, and he said … because whoever sends blessings on the Prophet, Allaah will send blessings on him tenfold, and if Allaah sends blessings on a person He will take care of his concerns and forgive him his sins. It says in Tuhfat al-Ahwadhi: “how much of my prayer (du’aa’) should be for you?” means: how much instead of my du’aa’ for myself. This was stated by al-Qaari. Al-Mundhiri said in al-Targheeb: What it means is: I say a lot of du’aa’; how much of my du’aa’ should I make sending blessings on you? I said: Should I make all my du’aa’ for you? i.e., should I devote all the time that I used to spend in saying du’aa’ for myself to sending blessings on you? “Then your concerns will be taken care of and your sins will be forgiven” – concerns means everything that a person seeks in this world and in the Hereafter. What it means is: if you spend all the time of du’aa’ in sending blessings on me, you will be given what you hope for in this world and in the Hereafter. End quote. Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allaah have mercy on him) said in al-Radd ‘ala al-Bakri (1/133): This is the ultimate that a person can say in du’aa’ for himself to bring good things and ward off harmful things, for du’aa’ involves attaining what one wants and warding off what one fears. Al-Tirmidhi (484) narrated from ‘Abd-Allaah ibn Mas’ood that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said•► “The closest of people to me on the Day of Resurrection will be those who send the most blessings on me.” Classed as hasan by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Targheeb wa’l-Tarheeb. It says in Tuhfat al-Ahwadhi: “The closest of people to me” means the nearest to me or those who are most entitled to my intercession” because sending a lot of blessings is based on veneration, which in turn stems from complete love, and that results in Allaah loving that person. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم to mankind): “If you (really) love Allaah, then follow me (i.e. accept Islamic Monotheism, follow the Qur’aan and the Sunnah), Allaah will love you and forgive you your sins” [Aal ‘Imraan 3:31].

"O Allah, I seek refuge in You lest I associate anything with You knowingly, and I seek Your forgiveness for what I know not." Reference: Musnad Ahmad 4/403. Sahihul-Jami' As-Saghir 3/233 and Sahihut-Targhib wat- Tarhib 1/19)

Points to Ponder

The Prophet SalAllahu alaihy wassalam seeks refuge from four disastrous things in this du'aa. Each one gives us a different lesson:

①“Knowledge that does not benefit”: This can mean knowledge that is not acted upon, or knowledge that has no use – such as worldly matters that do not give any benefit.

②“A heart that is not fearful”: In the Qur’an, Allah Subhan wa ta’la describes the true believers as having khushu’ in their prayer – a humility that is seen on their limbs. If the heart has khushu’, the body will have khushu’. So khushu’ is not just a state of the heart, it is a state of the heart which is visible on a person’s actions, in their posture, and in their movements.

③“A soul that is not satisfied”: The nature of humans is to always want more, which is why we train ourselves to be pleased with the minimum. When a person is not satisfied, it may bring about greed, jealousy, ungratefulness, and a lack of contentment. The believers are satisfied with whatever they are given in this life, and in the hereafter, Allah Subhan wa ta’la says: “And therein is whatever the souls desire and [what] delights the eyes.” (43:71) By refraining from indulgence in this worldly life, Allah blesses the believers with everything they desire in the hereafter.

④“A supplication that is not answered”: Not having supplications answered by Allah is a scary matter. Allah tells us to call upon Him, to ask Him and that He will give us. For Allah Subhan wa ta’la to not answer a supplication, it means that the person in involved in something wrong. In a famous hadith, we learn that the man who eats, drinks and is clothed from what is haram will not have his duaa answered.
Also, we must remember that a duaa is answered in three ways: Allah will grant the person what they are asking for, or the person is protected from something harmful or Allah will respond to the person in the hereafter. So we seek refuge from Allah from it being not answered, but we still have to have faith that we may not completely understand the wisdom if we do not see the answer we expect, since Allah may answer it in one of these three ways.

✦ SubhanAllaah!!! A Bangladeshi millionaire loses everything, becomes a sweeper in Makkah and then regains everything back again! – Amazing story of repentance, family ties and property ✦ An expatriate working as a street sweeper in Makkah saw his life change in a blink during the Haj season after his estranged brother sought to make amends for wronging him by returning his share of the family fortune. The Bangladeshi man was sweeping Taneem Street in Makkah when an old man wearing the Ihram cloth of Haj pilgrims crossed the busy road and embraced him warmly much to the perplexity of passersby. However, the sweeper returned the embrace, indicating his familiarity with the older man. The embrace in fact was between two brothers who had not seen each other for more than five years in the aftermath of a bitter dispute over inheritance rights, Saudi news site Sabq reported. The two men were from a wealthy family in Bangladesh, but the older brother had refused to give his sibling his share of the inheritance estimated at 17 million Saudi riyals in cash in addition to several properties. The older man even managed to have his younger brother sent to prison whenever he asked for his share. The younger brother, disappointed and dejected, opted to leave Bangladesh and work as a sweeper in the holy city of Makkah. As it turns out, the sweeper has become a millionaire in his home country. He told the people who gathered around him and his brother that he had forgiven his brother who had apologised profusely for mistreating him and that he was ready to return home. The older man said that he had been diagnosed with cancer and that he was not sure how long he would live. He reportedly looked for his brother in several places to ask for his forgiveness and make amends for all the years of deprivation he was forced to endure. He even offered financial rewards to whoever could help him locate his brother. According to the news site, the younger brother said he was ready to forget the past and move forward with his new life. “I will always be kind with the poor and the needy,” he said. “I have learned a lot about deprivation and poverty in the last five years. I will always be fair with everyone after I lived through years of injustice,” he said in Arabic, a language he learned during the time he spent sweeping the streets of Makkah.

Inform Him of what is in your heart but know that He Knows. He Knew what was, what is, and what will be, in this universe and in those chambers of your heart, those paths through your soul. But call out to Him and beseech Him because just as you love to be heard, He loves to be called. Just as you love to be given, He loves to be asked. Just as you love to be forgiven, He loves to grant you that forgiveness. He is your Lord, Maker, and Protector, and He is close to you. Know Him and strengthen your bond and connection with Him because nobody, absolutely nobody will be there for you as much as He is there and will always be there. ♥

Practice the art of being thankful, practice it until it becomes second nature.

"As a young adult, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)

"As a young adult, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was distinctly humane and kind, the best in behavior, pleasant in meeting and talking to people, amicable and generous as a neighbor, and embodiment of patience and tolerance, truthful in speech, distant from vulgar and hurtful speech, unparalleled in dignity, humble to the highest degree, full of compassion and goodwill, one who kept his word, and dead honest. It was as if God had concentrated all good attributes in his personality. That was why his people called him al-Amin."

Scholar: And if he returns again? Student: I would struggle against him. The scholar told him: This can take forever. What if you are passing by some sheep and their watchdog starts barking at you, preventing you from passing, what would your action be? Student: I would wear it down by struggle and repel it. "Allah is pleased with His slave if, when he eats something, he thanks Allah for it, and when he drinks something, he thanks Allah for it." (Muslim)

The most salient characteristic that Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) continued to maintain even after he became caliph was his humbleness.

If his camel's bridle would fall to the ground, he would descend to pick it up for himself. When this happened on one occasion, someone said to him, "Had you ordered us, we would have handed it to you." Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) responded: "The Messenger of Allah (peace & blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered us not to ask people for anything."

At-Taareekh Al-Islaamee by Mahmood Shaakir (pg. 8)

Abu Bakr had an especially loving and trusting relationship with Ali ibn Abi Talib, who, one should not be surprised to learn, named one of his sons, Abu Bakr.

After Abu Bakr died, Ali bin Abu Talib took his son, Muhammad bin Abu Bakr, into his household, raising him and taking good care of him. Upon becoming caliph himself, Ali selected Muhammad bin Abu Bakr to be one of his governors.

May Allah be pleased with them all.

Al-Murtada, by An-Nadawee (pg. 98)

O Turner of hearts, make our heart's steadfast on your religion. Aameen.

Jaabir ibn Mut'im radiAllah 'anhu said,

"Once, a woman went to the Prophet salAllahu 'alayhi wasallam, he ordered her to come back to him at a later time. She radiAllah 'anha said, 'Suppose that I come and do not find you.' It was if she was hinting to the Prophet's death. He salAllahu 'alayhi wasallam replied: "If you do not find me, then go to Abu Bakr."

Sahih Muslim (4/1856, 1857) and Sahih Bukhari (3659)

"Complain about your situation to Allah and don’t complain about it to His creation.

Know for certain that all forms of grief or heartache that come by you are because either He loves you and is therefore testing you, or either He loves you and is therefore purifying you from your sins."

“Causes of hardheartedness include:

Hard Hearts

Turning away from Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, and
not reading Qur’an;
Being preoccupied with this world and focusing mostly on it,
and not paying attention to matters of religion,

because obeying Allah, may He be exalted, makes the heart soft and brings one back to Allah, may He be blessed and exalted.

The remedy for that is to turn to Allah, repent to Him, remember Him a great deal, read the Qur’an a great deal, and do acts of worship, as much as one can.”

(Fataawa Noor ‘ala al-Darb by Ibn ‘Uthaymeen, 12/171)

Prophet Muhammad salAllahu 'alayhi wa sallam said,

"A Muslim shall never leave another Muslim helpless in the time of need."

Reported by Sahih Bukhari & Sahih Muslim

Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that a Jewish woman brought a poisoned sheep for the Prophet Muhammad (may Allah's peace & blessings be upon him). He ate from it and she was brought.

It was asked, "Should we not kill her?"
"No," the Prophet replied.

May Allah send His peace & blessings upon this most merciful man!

Don’t think for a moment that your heart is ‘strong’.

The heart is a vulnerable fool. It turns more easily than you turn your head. That’s why its called ‘qalb’ (that which turns). Protect it with layer upon layer of guards. And the only guard is the *consistent* remembrance of Allah. ♥..

Check, if your repentance was true:

The sign's of true repentance are:

*Crying over what has passed by (of one’s actions), *fear of falling into the sin (once again), *boycotting evil company, & *accompanying the righteous/doing righteous deeds. .♥..

Jannah is DEED based; NOT dream based. (:

Abdullah ibn Masood:

“Speech by itself is worthless, unless it is followed by action. Speech and action by themselves are worthless, unless they have the right intention. And speech, action, and the right intention are worthless unless they agree with the Sunnah.”

(Jaami’ al-Uloom, p. 70)

..::..The trials of a Believer and the Trials of a Sinner..::..

Salmân Al-Fârsî – Allâh be pleased with him – once visited a sick friend. When he entered upon him he said:
Have glad tidings, for verily Allâh makes the illness of a believer an expiation [for his sins] and a cause of being pleased, whereas the illness of a sinner is like a camel that has been tied by its owners, then released by them: it knows not why it was tied up nor why it was released.

(Al-Bukhârî, Al-Adab Al-Mufrad in the Chapter on the Expiation [of sins through] illness. Graded sahîh by Shaykh Al-Albânî in Sahîh Al-Adab Al-Mufrad)

Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim (rahimahullaah) Says:

"Grief, sorrow and distress only occur from two directions:
One of it is: The desire for the worldly life and having a zeal for it
And the second is: shortening in the actions of obedience and piety."

(‘Uddah As-Saabireen pg. 227)

If you're feeling down, maybe one long sujood is all.. to get you back on your feet. Just try it.

The heart is healthy only when it is functioning contrast to it's desires. in other words, desires are the sickness of the heart and opposing them is the cure..!

Those who desire are three types:

*Those who desire Allah,

*Those who desire what Allah has,

*And those who desire other than Allah.

So the lover is the one who desires Allah. The one who is concerned with works is the one who desires what Allah has. And the one who is satisfied with his life, in neglect to the Hereafter, is the one who desires other than Him”.

~ Imam ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyya ~

Allah wants ease for you and He does not want difficulty for u..!

It is not hardship that Allah wants for us as His slaves. But He wishes for us to attain certain qualities and characteristics. As is often the case, these characteristics are mostly gained through enduring difficulties, obstacles, and challenges - challenges which force you to rethink YOU and who YOU are; force you to think outside of the box and change your course for the better. It is these pathways that refine us and cultivate in us true value and nobility.

The other pathway that brings about similar results is talab al-'ilm (seeking knowledge). The more you learn, the more you grow and blossom with the fruits of your knowledge.

Always remember: ❝... Allah wants ease for you and He does not want difficulty for you...❞ [al-Baqarah: 185]
