One Who was His Helper, Supporter and Protector, the One Who was to
help him achieve victory and make His religion prevail over those who
resist him and oppose him and fight him in the east and in the west. May
Allah send peace and blessings upon him until the Day of Judgement.
Imam Ahmad recorded that Ibn `Abbas said: The Prophet was in Makkah, then he was commanded to emigrate, and Allah revealed the words:
﴿وَقُل رَّبِّ أَدْخِلْنِى مُدْخَلَ صِدْقٍ وَأَخْرِجْنِى مُخْرَجَ صِدْقٍ وَاجْعَل لِّى مِن لَّدُنْكَ سُلْطَـناً نَّصِيرًا ﴾
(And say: "My Lord! Let my entry be good, and (likewise) my exit be good. And grant me from You a helping authority.'')
One of our sisters in Islam said that when she moved to a new strange country far from her dear family, she kept remembering & reciting this beautiful du'aa taught to the Prophet (sallAllahu 'alyhi wasallam) by Allah and soon she found comfort in her new home, new surrounding and felt settled!
