Narrated 'Aisha: Whenever Allah's Apostle
(obuh) became ill, he used to recite Al-Muawidhatan (i.e. the last two
Suras of the Qur'an) and then blow his breath and passed his hand over
himself. When he had his fatal illness, I started reciting
Al-Muawidhatan and blowing my breath over him as he used to do, and then
I rubbed the hand of the Prophet over his body. Bukhari (Book #59,
Hadith #714)
"The good deeds of any person will not make him enter Paradise." (i.e., None can enter Paradise through his good deeds.)
Narrated Abu Huraira (ra) : I heard Allah's Apostle (pbuh) saying,
"The good deeds of any person will not make him enter Paradise." (i.e., None can enter Paradise through his good deeds.)
They (the Prophet's companions), may Allah be pleased with them, said,
'Not even you, O Allah's Apostle?'
He said,
"Not even myself, unless Allah bestows His favor and mercy on me."
So be moderate in your religious deeds and do the deeds that are within your ability:
and none of you should wish for death, for if he is a good doer, he may increase his good deeds, and if he is an evil doer, he may repent to Allah." Bukhari (Book #70, Hadith #577)
